Our founder, Ronald Bouchard, has always believed that just one individual can make a profound difference if they only believed it was possible. He also believes that true fulfillment in life is not possible unless we are willing to do for others. He has always been interested in helping people. The founding of Avion Cares is the commencement of six years of planning and a lifetime of wanting to do more.
Avion Cares is a non-profit organization, currently applying for 501(c)(3) status as a public charity. AC is committed to bringing members of the community together to help those most vulnerable and displaced to find a place to call home. Avion Cares concentrates on five distinct projects, all managed by a Project Director and a team of Volunteer Project Ambassadors.
The current projects include: Project Care for foster children, Project Shield for domestic violence, Project Thank You for homeless veterans, Project Homebound for homeless residents, and Project Rover for pets in need of adoption.
“There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.” – Edith Wharton
The mission of Avion Cares is to daily, actively and creatively find solutions to the problems facing displaced members of our community. We accomplish our mission by bringing together individuals and businesses willing to get their hands dirty and join forces to affect change in their communities; Because Everybody Deserves a Loving Home.
